Dear Reader,
Welcome to the Spring Edition of our Internet Marketing Newsletter. We hope your business is growing, and that you will continue to prospect for new customers. Even successful businesses need to constantly build their customer base to compensate for attrition. To help keep your business moving forward, we've compiled a short list of ideas.
You probably don't have so much time for writing newsletters or other marcom (marketing communications). However, this sort of "homework" is essential if you want to keep developing new customers and products.
Many web marketing consultants focus on driving traffic to your web site. "Click pumping" alone isn't a successful strategy. Once visitors find your web site, you need to inform, entertain and hold their attention. That's why copywriting is crucial to the success of your campaign.
If you have an idea how much you can pay to acquire a customer or a sales lead, new options are available for building online lead generation programs. Pay-per-call and pay-per-lead can be a low risk and cost effective ways to grow your business. Rather than buying advertising "space," you can buy responses.
Before spending money on advertising, perform a calculation to see what a sale or a lead will cost. We'd be happy to advise you how that compares with a results-oriented campaign.
You probably have some PowerPoint "decks" that you use for business presentations. You can convert those presentations into short movies for web distribution. By recycling your existing presentation assets, you can enhance your web site for a small marginal investment. If you record your standard presentation, we can edit out all the "ums" and "ahs" and shorten it to reasonable length. This audio can then be paired with your slides to create a narrated movie.
If you want to shoot your own movie, we can arrange a studio with green screen and virtual environments. You can deliver your speech, and our engineers will add a background, anything from a wood paneled library to a Hawaiian beach. You can use the output for web video, or burn it to DVD.
Last month we had a strong turnout for our seminar titled Big Brand Search Marketing. Our next seminar, Web Marketing 101, will run on May 16 in Bloomfield, CT. The presentation will focus on marketing for SME's (small and medium enterprises). Seats are free, but limited, so please review the conference agenda, and let us know if you would like to attend.
We hope you've learned something valuable. Please send any comments or questions to .
Best regards,
