For Web publishers

WP:CITE is a free tool that you can add to your web site to automatically generate Wikipedia-style inline citation code for your articles. When a visitor presses the WP:CITE button, a small window will open with wikicode that references your web page, including: URL, title, publisher, and accessdate. Click this button to see how it works.

A Wikipedia editor can copy that code into an article when they use your site as a reliable source of information.

To install the package, download this zip file.
